A judge has ordered Pete Doherty to spend 18 months attending a drugs rehabilitation programme after the troubled British rocker pleaded guilty to possessing heroin, crack cocaine and cannabis. The Babyshambles frontman, who had faced prison over the charges, was also placed on a two-year supervision order and banned from driving for six months at the hearing at Thames Magistrates' Court in London this morning (20APR06). Judge JANE MCIVOR told the 27-year-old, "It is going to be a long and slow process but you are showing significant signs of compliance and effort."
