Former LIBERTINE CARL BARAT has dismissed speculation he has written songs about ex-bandmate Pete Doherty with his new group, because he has moved on from the troubled rocker. Barat's new band DIRTY PRETTY THINGS scored a huge hit in the UK with their debut single BANG BANG YOU'RE DEAD, and many commentators believed it was a musical swipe at the Babyshambles frontman. But Barat insists he has plenty of other relationships in his life, and Doherty is now part of his history. He says, "It's about waking up and leaving the past behind. "There are a lot more relationships going on in my life than my relationship with Pete, that are just as weighty and have as much pressure on me."
