Singer Pete Burns is reportedly set for a $1.85 million (GBP1 million) payout for botched cosmetic surgery to his lips which left him "suicidal".
The former Dead or Alive frontman claims he was in such agony after the operation that he could not talk, eat or drink - and looked so "repulsive" that he didn't leave his house for seven months.
He had to undergo more than 100 further procedures to correct the damage after suffering an adverse reaction to collagen implants in his lips - which caused them to severely swell and blister.
The You Spin Me Round (Like A Record) hitmaker sued a clinic in London's Harley Street where the procedure was carried out.
And he is reportedly set for a massive payout after a surgeon admitted liability during a hearing at the High Court in London last week (begs 13Oct08).
The court was told Burns' lips were so badly damaged it looked as though they had been "mutilated with a Stanley knife".
The size of the compensation payout will be decided at a hearing next March (09).
