Rocker Perry Farrell only discovered his reformed band Jane's Addiction had split again when he read about it on guitarist Dave Navarro's website.

Farrell insists he had no idea that Navarro was planning to break-up the group until he went into detail about the split in June 2004.

The former frontman says, "I read online that my band was leaving me."

Farrell admits the worst thing about the news was it came just days after he was forced to pull the plug on his touring Lollapalooza Festival due to poor ticket sales.

He recalls, "There I was, a fellow who loves to keep himself busy. I had these beautiful projects, and then, within a week, I found myself with nothing."
