Fans have been approaching Perrie for advice since the release of ‘Shout Out To My Ex’.
Perrie Edwards says she’s become like an ‘agony aunt’ to fans since opening up about her split from Zayn Malik.
The Little Mix singer laid details about the split bare on the band’s single ‘Shout Out To My Ex’ and says now fans approach her with their own stories of heartache.
Perrie Edwards has been dishing out advice to heartbroken fans
“I’m like an agony aunt. I feel amazing, I can’t get enough of it,” she told the Daily Star.
“So many people approach me at nightclubs saying, ‘You changed my life, I’ve never felt better’. Or, ‘I got dumped two weeks ago and your song makes me feel great’. Guys too have told me they put the song on repeat to help them.”
The same is happening to Perrie’s bandmate Jesy Nelson, who’s rumoured to have recently split from fiancé Jake Roche.
“Glory Days is a love and heartbreak album. Now women, older women too, randomly come up to tell me their problems. It makes you feel good,” Jesy told the newspaper.
Perrie added: “I suppose that’s what makes us so relatable. Songs like FU – everyone’s had an FU moment. Everybody’s had a Nothing Else Matters moment too.”
But Perrie is now rumoured to have a new man in her life, Arsenal and England winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and according to The Sun, she’s already introduced him to her bandmates.
“It’s still early days between Perrie and Alex but it’s increasingly getting more serious,” a source told the newspaper.
“Her pals are pleased Alex is such a nice guy and will certainly treat her right.
“She’s been to watch him play at the Emirates on more than one occasion now in his private box with his family and likes how close he is with them,” the source added.
