Pearl Jam will release their much-anticipated tenth studio album, 'Lightning Bolt', on Monkeywrench Records/Republic Records on October 14th distributed through Universal. Produced by Brendan O'Brien, 'Lightning Bolt' marks Pearl Jam's first studio album since the highly acclaimed 'Backspacer', which was released nearly four years ago in September 2009.
'Lightning Bolt' is available for pre-order now on the Pearl Jam website and via iTunes. The first track from the album, 'Mind Your Manners', impacts August 26th and is now on iTunes.
Earlier this week, Pearl Jam announced a two-leg, 24-date North American tour. The first leg kicks-off in Pittsburgh on October 11th and wraps in New Orleans with the band's previously announced headlining performance at Voodoo Music + Arts Experience during the weekend of November 1st. The second leg of the tour commences in Dallas on November 15th and closes in the band's hometown of Seattle on December 6th.
Pearl Jam's North American Dates are in addition to the band's previously announced upcoming sold out concerts in London, Ontario (July 16th and Chicago, IL (July 19th).
