Paz de la Huerta, the 'Boardwalk Empire' star who was planning to plead guilty to second degree harassment today, has had her court appearance delayed so she can be evaluated for alcohol counselling. The New York Post suggested it a report that De La Huerta would admit to harassing reality star Samantha Swetra in a Meatpacking District bar in March.
After showing up at the Manhattan Criminal Court, the actress was told she would return on 28th July 2011 after an alcohol evaluation. On that date, Paz will allegedly be sentenced to one day of community service. She will also be required to stay away from Swetra, a former reality actress who appeared on 'The Hills' spin-off 'The City'. The actress is charged with assault and other offenses relating to a fight at the Standard Hotel in New York City in which Samantha was punched in the face and given a bloody nose. De La Huerta reportedly told police arriving at the scene, "I'm a real actress on HBO! She's a fake actress publicity-seeker!"
