Boardwalk Empire actress Paz de la Huerta will plead guilty to harassment at her court appearance today (14th July 2011), according to the Associated Press. The actress will admit to threatening the reality television star 'Samantha Swetra' at the Standard Hotel in New York City.
A source who spoke on the condition of anonymity revealed De La Huerta would face a fine and a day of community service. The actress is charged with assault and other offenses relating to a fight in which 'The City' star Swetra was punched in the face and given a bloody nose. In a lawsuit over the incident, the reality star called Huerta's behaviour "atrocious and utterly intolerable". The actress plays 'Lucy Danziger' in Boardwalk Empire, the unpredictable girlfriend of Steve Buscemi's character 'Enoch 'Nucky Thompson'. Paz, who recently completed shooting the show's second season, has also appeared in numerous movies in recent years, most notably 'The Cider House Rules', 'A Walk to Remember', 'The Limits of Control'.
Samantha Swetra, who seeks unspecified damages in the lawsuit, works as a fashion buyer and appeared in several episodes of 'The Hills' spin-off 'The City'. The show focused on Whitney Port, who moved from Los Angeles to New York to work for the designer DIANE VON FURSTENBERG.
