Following a stellar debut live performance at Birthdays and such accolades as The Guardian's New Band Of The Day, Pawws - the alias of North London electronic pop starlet Lucy Taylor - unveils a brand new remix for the lead track on the double A-side single 'Time To Say Goodbye / Slow Love', released July 15th on ASL Records.
The remix is available for free download from Pawws' website.
On this reworking, Toronto artist ColeCo takes the heart-wrenching ballad and strips back some of it's floweriness in favour of heavy, humming bass and twinkling percussion, though still retaining the slow softness of the original track. Ultimately these brooding aesthetics glow in portraying a more masculine perspective to Pawws' lovelorn break-up song.
