Spanish superstar Paulina Rubio has been ordered to stand trial in relation to a breach of contract lawsuit.
The Mexican singer is facing legal action from promoters at Miami, Florida firm Cmg Entertainment over allegations she failed to honour a deal to play a concert in Tunja, Colombia in 2010.
The plaintiffs are seeking almost $1 million (£625,000) in damages, but Rubio's attorney, Omar Ortega, insists the suit has no merit.
He tells Spanish news agency Efe, "Rubio did nothing wrong. Paulina did nothing that justifies her being sued."
The case is expected to go to trial later this year (12).
