Ncis star Pauley Perrette has been accused of acting out an unsold film script in a bid to put her ex-husband behind bars.
Rocker Francis 'Coyote' Shivers, who was married to the actress from 2000 to 2004, is facing possible jail time for violating a restraining order his ex won against him - but in new legal papers he insists he has been caught up in Perrette's movie plot-come-to life.
And his claims have been backed up by her former friends, who have testified about her off-screen antics towards her ex-husband.
One pal, Jason Fishbein, tells the New York Post, "She’s extremely extroverted, extremely intelligent and charming - but she’s wicked."
And, in a court affidavit, another former pal claims Perrette “has a history of vindictive behavior" towards her exes, while a third friend, Lisa Lynch, adds in court papers obtained by the Post, "I recall her stealing the cat of her ex-boyfriend... Then, when he wanted to take her to court about this, (she) filled out the paperwork for a restraining order in retaliation."
Lynch also claims the actress was treated in the psychiatric ward at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
Perrette sought a restraining order against Shivers in 2005, claiming she feared for her safety after he sent her frightening emails.
The order has been renewed several times, but rocker and DJ Shivers insists his ex is simply living out a screenplay she wrote for a film titled Sta Crazy.
He tells the Post, "For years, I’ve been saying that this was going to happen - in court documents, in police reports. And, finally, it has."
Shivers faces one year behind bars when he is sentenced on Wednesday (27Mar13) for violating the order against Perrette last year (Apr12) after the former couple came face to face in a Los Angeles sushi restaurant.
