Actress Paula Patton, who is married to R&B star Robin Thicke, has finally chimed in on her husband's raunchy routine with 20 year-old pop terror, Miley Cyrus at last month's MTV music video awards ceremony.

On Tuesday night's Watch What Happens Live, hosted by Andy Cohen, Paula Patton responded to a pressing viewers question regarding her opinion of young popster Cyrus grinding on her husband's crotch for entertainment. "How long did it take to wash Miley's funk off your husband's Beetlejuice pants?" she was asked, to which she shrieked with laughter.

"First of all, his outfit was fly," she said, just getting that vital information out of the way. She added secondly "he was wearing pants, so there was nothing to wash off. It wasn't a naked show," as reported by USA Today.

More seriously, Paula addressed the event that had the world's audiences with their jaws on the floor, watching through peeped fingers. "I wasn't surprised (by the performance) at all. Honestly, they rehearsed for three days before, and I don't know how not to dance with someone having their booty in your - all my friends do it like that," she said.

Paula moved to defending Cyrus' highly sexualised dance routine: "I don't really know what the big deal is. I don't know if they thought Miley was going to sit down and play piano? Like Alicia Keys?" "The song is about taking Molly! I don't understand. I didn't get the big deal," she added on a clear note. Patton has also supported Thicke's 'Blurred Lines' video with its topless parading models, despite there being a big backlash from anti-sexual violence campaigners.

After the VMAs afterparty on the 25th Aug, student Lana Scolaro came out to say Robin Thicke had cheated on his wife with her whilst Patton was at the same afterparty. Scolaro and Thicke supposedly made out with each other and a suspicious photo surfaced on Twitter showing Thicke clearly grabbing the young girl's bottom. However, the couple's rep released a statement saying that Scolaro was just looking for attention and they were "not concerned."

Robin Thicke Paula Patton Rumours
Thicke's New-Found Mega Fame Won't Affect His Strong Marriage.

Having been together since they were at high school, Paula and Robin claim to have a wonderful marriage and are frequently seen getting lovey-dovey or out as a happy family with their toddler Julian.

After his 'Blurred Lines' song and video hit, Robin received an unprecedented level of fame he's never experienced before and his music industry lothario image caused speculation that he was a "player" type and condoned non-consensual sex. However, Robin has reiterated that he only has yes for his wife and respects women and seems to be putting out a united front with his family at the moment.
