Veteran rocker Paul Weller has no qualms about being middle-aged, because he experienced his midlife crisis a decade ago. The 47-year-old was in his late thirties when the traditional bout of excessive behaviour kicked in. He recalls, "I got (my midlife crisis) out of the way 10 years ago - drinks, drugs, and those were the good bits. "It's a bit like being barmy for a while and then the smoke clears. It's good to get it out of the way early."
