Meadow posted the throwback picture on Instagram, adding the caption "Happy Birthday, I love you." The picture showed Walker holding Meadow, then a toddler, in his arms as they smiled at one another.
Walker, best known for his role as Brian O'Connor in The Fast and the Furious films, died last year at the age of 40. Walker and a friend, Roger Rodas, were involved in a single vehicle car accident in November 2013 which tragically claimed both their lives.
Meadow was 15 at the time of her father's death and had only lived with her father in Los Angeles for two years before his untimely death. Meadow was previously raised by her mother, Rebecca Soteros, in Hawaii. Meadow has since relocated back to Hawaii, as Us Weekly reports.

Meadow was not the only one close to Walker to pay tribute to him on his birthday. His Fast and Furious co-star Vin Diesel posted a video on Facebook. The video was taken on Walker's birthday last year and evidently on the set of The Fast and The Furious 7, which was in the middle of filming when Walker died. The short 1:14 video shows the cast and crew, including Diesel, singing 'Happy Birthday' to a clearly embarrassed Walker. Diesel added the caption "One Year Ago Today. Honouring Our Brother."
Another of Paul's co-stars, Jordana Brewster, also mentioned Walker in her Twitter post on Friday. The Fast and The Furious star posted pictures of a sunset with the caption "Happy Birthday Paul Walker. Always in our hearts."
Rapper Ludacris, who also starred in a number of the Fast and Furious movies including the upcoming film, posted a picture of Walker on Instagram. The picture showed Walker on a humanitarian mission, leaning down to comfort an evidently ill child. Ludacris added the caption "Happy Bday to an Angel today."
