Paul Walker's Daughter Settles Wrongful Death Lawsuit With Porsche

Paul Walker

Nearly four years after the shocking sudden death of Fast and Furious actor Paul Walker, the late star’s daughter has settled a wrongful death lawsuit with Porsche.

Walker died in November 2013 at the age of 40 in a car accident alongside his friend, Roger Rodas, who was driving the Porsche Carrera GT. Rodas lost control of the sports vehicle as they were driving in Santa Clarita, California.

Law enforcement ruled that the car was travelling at nearly 90 mph to have lost control, but the lawsuit alleged that it might have been going at as little as 63 mph due to inherent safety flaws. It also claimed that a “defective” seat belt may have prevented Walker from escaping the car before it burst into flames, killing him.

Vin Diesel Confirms Plans For "One Last Trilogy" Of 'Fast & Furious' Movies

Vin Diesel Paul Walker

Good news for Fast & Furious fans today, as the franchise’s star, producer and co-creator Vin Diesel has confirmed that there will be another three movies before the series ends.

Writing on his Facebook page on Sunday (September 27th), Diesel said that Universal Studios had given the green light to a final trilogy of movies to be made to bring the franchise to a close. Given that that first instalment came way back in 2001, and that the eighth movie has a tentative release date of spring 2017, it’s entirely possible that the Fast & Furious movies will have spanned two decades by the time it’s through.
