Mira Sorvino's father is still absolutely furious after hearing about his daughter's ordeal at the hands of disgraced film producer Harvey Weinstein. He's even gone as far as to threaten to kill him if he ever meets him, and is adamant that he be jailed for life.

The 78-year-old actor told TMZ just how 'furious' he was when he found out that Harvey Weinstein sexually harassed Mira in a hotel room in the early 1990s, around the time that she was shooting 'Mighty Aphrodite'. Reporters asked for his comment on suggestions that she was 'blackballed' in Hollywood after refusing his advances.

Stars of the classic movie helped close out the Tribeca Film Festival.

The Tribeca Film Festival ended on Saturday, with a special celebration honouring the 25th anniversary of classic movie, Goodfellas. Robert De Niro, Lorraine Bracco, Paul Sorvino and screenwriter Nicholas Pileggi came together in front of the New York crowd, sharing stories about their time on set as well as revealing a few surprising secrets.

Secrets that were dished included Liotta telling the audience that Joe Pesci’s famous ‘Do I Amuse You’ scene was pretty much entirely improvised. “Joe was just telling a story in rehearsal about something that happened to him in Queens,” said the actor. “Some guy, who happened to be a connected guy, said, ‘You think that's funny?’”

Italian-American actor Paul Sorvino (Goodfellas; Romeo + Juliet; Law and Order) ships Christmas gifts at FedEx in Beverly Hills. While Paul is busy in the building, the photographers are momentarily distracted by a man in the shop, who is taking pictures of the photographers. Paul leaves through a back door and talks and laughs with them as he sets off down the street; he wishes the photographers 'Happy Holidays', to which they respond likewise.

Paul is set to star in For The Love of Money, which will also star James Caan and former child star Jonathan Lipnicki. It is not known when the movie will be released

Repo! The Genetic Opera Review

Repo! The Genetic Opera clearly strives to defy description, which of course makes it fun to describe: It's a futuristic rock musical about organ repossession from the director of Saws II through IV, starring Giles from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Paul Sorvino, and Paris Hilton. But it's also surprisingly fun to sit down and watch, provided you're in the mood for a low-budget musical that swings for the fences rather than Oscar glory.

In the year 2056, Rotti Largo (Sorvino) heads up GeneCo, which offers financing options for organ transplants (both medical and cosmetic), and has no qualms about a gory repossession if a buyer misses a payment. Scientist Nathan (Anthony Stewart Head) moonlights as one such repo man while caring for his sick daughter Shilo (Alexa Vega from the Spy Kids movies), who yearns to break free from the confines of her bedroom. Complicated backstories are illustrated, literally, via half-animated comics-style panels.

A Touch Of Class Review

Good

George Segal steals the show (as usual) in this romantic comedy, but it's Glenda Jackson who won the Oscar for A Touch of Class. Her stuffy and dour character (as usual) isn't really anything special -- she's the straight man to Segal's hambone, a married man who's desperately trying to get the British Jackson into bed, despite his old age (back spasms, and so on). A Touch of Class tries to turn infidelity into comedy gold, as many of its 1970s compatriots also did, victims of the sexual revolution. Too bad that today, the film is dated, relying too much on slapstick humor and saddled with now-stale gags. Hilarious for its time? (Hilarious enough for a Best Picture nomination?) You be the judge.

The Family Man Review

Nicolas Cage makes a gosh-darn good Jimmy Stewart substitute in "The Family Man," starring as a Wall Street playboy taught a lesson in life priorities when he gets Frank Capra-ed into an alternative suburban reality that includes a wife, kids, a minivan, a mortgage and a job selling tires for his father-in-law.

His performance is superb as Jack Campbell, a toplofty workaholic millionaire of the new economy who is utterly baffled by waking up one morning next to the college sweetheart (Téa Leoni), whom he'd abandoned to pursue his career 13 years before.

How did he get there? Well, after stiff-arming his ornamental girlfriend on Christmas eve and ordering an emergency merger meeting for dinner time the next day, Jack catches the eye of some kind of cryptic seraph (Don Cheadle) by intervening in a convenience store hold up. When he tells Cheadle he has everything he could ever want in life, the busybody celestial spirit decides Jack's karma needs a realignment and sends him whirling into a world of What Might Have Been.
