Paul Reiser's new show will premiere on 14th April 2011.Paul Reiser, the American comedian and actor, will star in a new single-camera series named, 'The Paul Reiser Show', premiering on 14th April 2011, according to the Hollywood Reporter.The show stars the eponymous 53-year-old as himself and will follow Reiser as he "gets into trouble" and takes adventures with a new group of friends. However, he had no real choice in choosing his new pals, as they are made up of the husbands of his wife's friends and the fathers of his children's classmates. The show is set to air at 8.30pm and will also stars Ben Shenkman, the British stand-up comedian Omid Djalili, 'All of Us' star Duane Martin and Andrew Daly. The new NBC series is set to replace the struggling freshman comedy sitcom 'Perfect Couples'.
Paul Reiser, who was voted number 78 on Comedy Central's list of the '100 Greatest Stand Up's Of All Time', is perhaps best known for appearing in the hit sitcom 'Mad About You', with Helen Hunt. The 53-year-old received Emmy Award and Golden Globe nominations for his performances and was reportedly paid $1 million an episode for the show's successful final season.
