Sia surprised fans at Coachella Music Festival with visuals featuring actors Kristen Wiig and Paul Dano on Sunday (17Apr16).
The Chandelier singer shies away from being the centre of attention during her live performances, and her main stage set in California was no exception. She wore her signature oversized half-black, half-white wig which covers half of her face and stood towards the back of the stage largely in shadow, and used the onscreen visuals and onstage dancers to entertain the audience.
Bridesmaids star Kristen, who performed with Sia at the 2015 Grammy Awards, made a return in a similar half-black, half-white wig for a series of interpretive dances on two giant screens on each side of the stage, which showed pre-recorded segments rather than a close-up of the stage.
Dancers, including Sia's regular collaborator Maddie Ziegler, 13, performed on stage while visuals flashed up on the screens, and at times the dancers would mimic the movements of the pre-recorded sequences.

Daniel Radcliffe and Paul Dano star in one of the more eccentric independent flicks of the year, the Sundance-selected 'Swiss Army Man'. It follows the adventures of a stranded wanderer and his discovery of an apparently dead man with extraordinary abilities.
Paul Dano and Daniel Radcliffe star in Swiss Army Man
It's like an increasingly bizarre take on 'Cast Away', though instead of a volleyball named Wilson, our marooned man finds a friend in the washed up cadaver of a young man. Hank (Dano) believes that he's going to starve to death on this isolated island he finds himself stranded on, and makes plans to end it the easy way. But when he meets Manny (Radcliffe), his whole perspective changes.

Hank is a man who's been pushed to the edge, he's stranded on an island with no company and limited supplies. Feeling that there's little hope of being saved, Hank decides that death is his only option. As he ties the noose around his neck and is about to take his final step the islander sees a shape on the beach in the distance that looks like a human body.
Hank accidentally trips but luckily his attempt at death is fumbled by a faulty rope. Hank discovers that the shape is a body which still has small signs of life. Manny isn't able to do anything but Hank pulls his new accomplice to his shelter and after opening up to his new quiet friend he gets a mumbled response from the almost catatonic Manny.
As their worlds collide, fantasy becomes reality in an adventure the pair must endure to survive.

Just 30 minutes after the watershed the BBC showed a fully naked solider on Sunday evening and viewers couldn't believe their eyes.
The BBC’s adaption of ‘War and Peace’ has already been described as a ‘sexed-up’ retelling of Tolstoy’s original tale, but nothing prepared viewers for Sunday night’s episode. At approximately 26 minutes after the 9pm watershed on Sunday, viewers were faced with full frontal male nudity and no one knew quite where to look.
Lily James stars in ‘War and Peace’ on BBC One.
On twitter viewers couldn't believe what they had just seen and reacted with a mixture of shock and amusement. ‘That was unexpected! First time i've seen a penis on BBC1! (and on a Sunday too!) #WarAndPeace,’ wrote one viewer.

Farting corpses aren't for everyone.
The biggest WTF moment of Sundance Film Festival 2016 goes to - drum roll please - 'Swiss Army Man'. Obviously. Because it was so weird that even Daniel Radcliffe's fans walked out on his latest flick where he played a gassy corpse in this weirdly homoerotic comedy drama on Friday (January 22nd 2016).
Some may not have liked it, but Daniel Radcliffe had a ball on 'Swiss Army Man'
A lot of people were excited about the premiere of this unique indie film starring Radcliffe and 'Love & Mercy' star Paul Dano, perhaps thinking that it would be an unusual take on 'Cast Away'. However, it was so much more bizarre than that. Billed as a film about a man stranded on a desert island who finds an unlikely companion in a washed up corpse, it was exactly that but with a supernatural - and slightly immature - twist.

Fans Reportedly Walked Out During The Premiere Of Daniel Radcliffe And Paul Dano's New Movie At The Sundance Film Festival On Friday (22jan16).
Hundreds packed into the screening of the hotly-anticipated Swiss Army Man, but editors at Variety report the movie, about a lost man who befriends a corpse on a desert island, divided the audience and many left the theatre.
In the independent film, directed by Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, Dano's character finds a corpse washed ashore and the movie features long discussions about masturbation, isolation and the meaning of life, as well as a kiss between the actors.
The Harry Potter star plays the role of the corpse, who maintains an erection and passes gas throughout the film.

Paul Dano stars alongside Sir Michael Caine and Harvey Keitel in 'Youth', released in the UK on January 29th.
Ahead of the release of the European Film Award-winning drama Youth, which teams up Michael Caine and Harvey Keitel, one of the movie’s supporting cast members, Paul Dano, has spoken about the experience of working with the British movie legend.
31 year old Dano, who was recently nominated for a Golden Globe for his portrayal of Beach Boys genius Brian Wilson in Love & Mercy earlier this year, spoke exclusively to us about what it was like to work with Caine.
“Michael is,” he said before pausing for thought, “you know, there’s just not a false note going on in his body or his voice or anything. He’s just so present, and simple.”

Beach Boys Star Brian Wilson Was Joined Onstage By The Actor Who Plays Him As A Young Man In New Movie Love & Mercy At The Dvd Launch Party On Monday Night (12oct15).
"Brian asked me to sing that song because he knows it's one of my favourites," the actor explains. "My favourite part was the ending, the communal 'ahhhs' and the feeling of communion up there. It's a really beautiful, intimate song."
Wilson was also joined onstage at the Vibrato Grill in Los Angeles by Jardine's son Matt, who took on lead vocals for the band's performance of another Beach Boys classic, Wouldn't It Be Nice.
Paul Dano and John Cusack star in this unique portrayal of one of music's most talented yet troubled individuals.
Those who missed the theatrical release of Brian Wilson biopic 'Love & Mercy' don't have to miss out any longer as the critically acclaimed flick is now on DVD, bringing a story of hope, love and creativity to the masses.

In June 2015, the biopic of one of music's greatest living legends, Brian Wilson of The Beach Boys, was released to a rapturous response. Depicting him in two major decades of his life, 'Love And Mercy' was directed by the Oscar nominated Bill Pohlad ('12 Years A Slave', 'Brokeback Mountain') and captured both the intense pain and the immense happiness that he struggled with throughout his successful career.
Mick and Fred have been friends lifelong friends, now both reaching their more senior years they find themselves wanting very different things in their immediate life. Fred's daughter Lena feels her dad is in need of a health check and some R&R so she books them into a luxury spa in the beautiful Swiss mountains.
Whilst Mick feels the pressure to finish his latest screenplay, Fred on the other hand, much to his daughters dismay, has no desire to return to his career scoring and conducting music. Whilst visiting the retreat, both men meet many interesting characters and find themselves in a retrospective mood only to be rejuvenated by the experience in more than one way.
The film score features contributions by many celebrated artists but perhaps the most poignant from Mark Kozelek AKA Sun Kil Moon, Kozelek also makes a cameo appearance in the film. Paloma Faith also has a song on the film and makes a cameo. Youth will open in US cinemas December 4, 2015
