Paul Carrack releases his new single 'Ain't No Love In The Heart of the City' on July 7th 2008 through his own label Carrack - UK. The name of the single may seem familiar as it's actually a reworking of soul/R&B legend Bobby 'Blue' Bland's track.
Paul Carrack's best known as the voice as Mike & The Mechanics, the group had success with many hits including Silent Running, The Living Years, Over My Shoulder, across the 80s and 90s. Carracks musical accomplishments go much further than that, also having hit single with Squeeze, Ace and being featured on many records including Roxy Music, BB King, Elton John, he also managed to squeeze in writing a song for The Eagles 'Love Will Keep Us Alive' that turned out to be the most played single of the year in America!
