Oscar winner Patty Duke owes her life to sons SEAN and MACKENZIE - because they stopped her from committing suicide when they were young children.
The Miracle Worker star was battling manic depression and a bipolar disorder when her sons were four and six when she opted to end her life in the bathroom of the family home.
Duke tells America's Globe publication, "I remember them banging on the bathroom door begging me not to kill myself."
