Singer Patti Smith will show off her photography skills at a new art exhibit in Connecticut.
The Because the Night hitmaker will display over 70 black-and-white snaps at the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art in Hartford.
The still-life photos were taken primarily over the last decade and Smith is eager for fans and art enthusiasts to get a glimpse of her work.
She tells America's Vogue magazine, "They have a 19th-century feel about them because that's what I gravitate toward. I'm a master of my camera... I've been taking photographs since I was a teenager. My camera has been my friend, and it's been all over the world with me."
The exhibition is set to open on 21 October (11).
