Soul veteran Patti Labelle is reuniting R+B trio LABELLE, after 33 years.
LaBelle and former groupmates Nona Hendryx and Sarah Dash have returned to the studio to work on a new album.
And they have turned to a combination of old and new to help them mastermind their return to the charts; Philadelphia soul pioneers Gamble + Huff and rocker Lenny Kravitz.
Hendryx explains the decision to reunite, "About a year and a half ago, we met to record a tribute to civil rights icon Rosa Parks, and we just felt in our bones it was the time to do this."
LaBelle, 63, adds, "We're sisters and we'll always be sisters."
