Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore's 1990 film Ghost is set to be resurrected for a musical production in the U.K.
Bruce Joel Rubin has signed a deal to adapt his Oscar-winning screenplay at the Opera House in Manchester for a seven-week tryout with a projected West End run - and he's landed an all-star creative team to work on the project.
Tony-winner Matthew Warchus has signed on to direct Ghost - The Musical, which will also feature music and lyrics by Glen Ballard and Eurthymics' Dave Stewart.
Casting has yet to be announced for the project, which is set to debut on 28 March (11).
The news follows three months after director Taro Otani announced plans to helm a Japanese remake of the film, which is slated for an autumn (10) release.
