Rockers Passion Pit have cancelled more concerts to allow frontman Michael Angelakos to "continue to improve" his mental health.
Last week (ends22Jul12), the band announced it was axing six shows, including stops in Nashville, Tennessee and New York, so Angelakos could address his issues and the group has now decided to cancel weekday gigs into August (12), but will still honour appearances at Lollapalooza, Osheaga and Outside Lands festivals.
A post on the band's Facebook.com page reads, "Thanks to everyone for all of their love and support throughout these past couple weeks. While we're excited to see you over the next two weekends at Lollapalooza, Osheaga and Outside Lands, we're sorry to let you know that we need to postpone our upcoming weekday shows in Colorado and Salt Lake City (Utah) in order for Michael to continue to improve his mental health and complete a procedure that week.
"We know that this is disappointing to fans who were planning on coming to these shows, and we want you to know we're doing everything we can to try and make it up to you. We appreciate everyone's support and patience. We'll see you soon."
The band has rescheduled three of their original postponed dates for September (12).
