In ‘stupid things Paris Hilton has said’ news, the reality star is under fire for comments she made about gay men. According to TMZ.com, Hilton was recorded saying, “Gay guys are the horniest people in the world ... they're disgusting. Dude, most of them probably have AIDS,” during a can ride in New York City on September 7, 2012.

During the conversation – that Hilton’s people say was secretly recorded by the cab driver – she is heard to bring up Grindr, a popular iPhone app that gay men often use to find partners. Hilton says, “Ewwww ... gay guys are the horniest people in the world. Most of them probably have AIDS ... I would be so scared if I was a gay guy ... you'll like die of AIDS.” In a hilarious defence of her comments, Paris’ representative said in a statement, “Paris Hilton’s comments were to express that it is dangerous for anyone to have unprotected sex that could lead to a life threatening disease,” adding, “The conversation became heated, after a close gay friend told her in a cab ride, a story about a gay man who has AIDS and is knowingly having unprotected sex. He also discussed a website that encourages random sex by gay men with strangers.”

Of course, Paris Hilton is no strange to ridiculous comments. This is a woman who once – according to Yahoo - uttered the immortal phrase, “I don't really think, I just walk.”
