The British shock artist who famously doctored 500 copies of Paris Hilton's debut album is now advertising his new website and upcoming Los Angeles showcase using a pregnant Demi Moore as his muse. Guerilla artist BANKSY has manipulated the actress' 1991 Vanity Fair cover shot, for which she posed naked and nursed her bulging stomach, for poster artwork advertising his website, which in turn promotes his new Downtown Los Angeles warehouse exhibition, BANKSY'S BARELY LEGAL. The posters, which feature Moore's face replaced by that of an animated The Simpsons-esque goon with bulging eyes, have been plastered illegally all over Los Angeles. The Bristol-based artist, whose identity is a closely-guarded secret, hit the headlines this summer (06) when he teamed up with Gnarls Barkley star Dangermouse to doctor Hilton's eponymous debut album and smuggle a limited edition of their cheeky collaboration into HMV stores throughout Britain. Banksy's artwork replaced the socialite's face with her dogs and featured a topless Hilton. The CDs became an instant collector's item, attracting bids of up to $85 (GBP47) on auction website eBay.
