Paloma Faith is convinced she won't win any BRIT Awards tonight (20.02.13).

The 'Picking Up the Pieces' singer is nominated for the British Album and British Female awards, but thinks she will lose out in both categories to Emeli Sande.

She told the Daily Star newspaper: ''Emeli will probably win. She's had so much exposure and that helps.

''She's consistent and always delivers a good vocal performance.

''I'd say everyone else except for Adele - me included - are a bit more human.''

Emeli is hotly tipped to sweep the board at this year's awards, with four nominations in three categories, including two in British Single. She will also close tonight's show, but is then planning to take six months off before starting work on her second album.

Meanwhile Rita Ora - who is up for British Breakthrough Act and also has two nominations in the British Single category - is a lot more nervous about going to this year's show, as it is the first where she is nominated.

She said: ''Last year was my first BRITs. I loved it, sitting on a table and watching the show.

''But I was just observing that day and learning a lot. It's going to be different this year. I'm really excited and nervous because I'm nominated.

''I try not to think about it too much because I don't want to jinx it. To win would be a great achievement for me and my fans, but we'll see.''
