Paloma Faith didn't think her collaboration with Ghostface Killah on the international version of her single 'New York' worked out.
Wu Tang Clan member Ghostface appeared on the international version of the British singer's track 'New York', but she never met him and feels his rap didn't carry the message of the song very well.
She told Digitalspy.com: ''That thing with Ghostface Killah was really weird because I didn't approve it. I didn't particularly think it was necessary to have a rapper featuring on anything and I've also never met him.
''I don't think he knew what that song was about. From what he said on it you can tell he didn't really listen to what I was trying to say!''
The experience has made a mark on Paloma, as she is not collaborating with any other artists for her forthcoming second album, 'Fall To Grace', and hopes to hand pick who she works with in the future.
She added: ''I'm not doing any collaborations on this one because I've got my own way! In the future I'd like them to be with people I really want to work with.''
