Paloma Faith says former 'EastEnders' actress Barbara Windsor is a huge inspiration for her fashion choices.
The singer-songwriter is known for her show stopping outfits and revealed the former 'Eastenders' actress is a huge inspiration for her fashion choices.
Speaking at her Summer Series at Somerset House gig in association with American Express last night (18.07.12), she said: ''Barbara Windsor's my style icon.''
Meanwhile, Paloma played new song 'Cellulite' which she revealed is an ode to all those with ''wobbly bits''.
Before turning her back to the crowd and wiggling her bottom, she explained: ''For all the people with wobbly bits, bingo wings, jelly, beer bellies, flab, and even liposuction where the fat deposits itself in weird places...we shake 'em together tonight.''
The song does not appear on her new album 'Fall to Grace' as Paloma explained it didn't fit because ''It's kind of jolly and the rest was all miserable.''
Paloma recently revealed power dressing gives her confidence and she always makes an effort with her appearance especially if she has just gone through an emotional upheaval.
She said: ''Power dressing is a big thing for me. If I'm going into a confrontational situation, I'll make a real effort of if I've just split up with someone, I'll dress up to the nines.
''It gives me confidence, like I'm going in to battle. As a teenager, I was always trying to fit in and failed miserably. I wore what was considered trendy but it didn't suit me.''
