Childhood: Paloma Faith was born in the Hackney, London, to an English mother and a Spanish father who divorced when she was four years old. Following this, Faith moved with her mother to Stoke Newington, London. She was encouraged to take weekly ballet classes by her mother, and after finishing her A-Levels at City and Islington College, Faith studied for a BA in Contemporary Dance at Leeds University. Faith released her debut album, 'Do You Want the Truth or Something Beautiful?' on 28th September 2009 to rave reviews. The album was certified double platinum after reaching the sixth spot in the UK charts. Also in 2009, Faith also appeared in 'The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus'. On 29th February, 2012, Faith announced her upcoming second studio album, 'Fall to Grace', set for release on 28th May 2012. On its release, the album reached the second spot in the UK albums charts and received decent reviews from critics. 'Fall to Grace' was certified double platinum in the UK. In January 2013, Faith revealed that she was underway writing her third studio album. 'A Perfect Contradiction' was released on 10th March 2014, to mixed reviews. Similarly to its predecessor, it reached the second spot on in the UK charts and became double platinum status.
Personal Life: In 2005, Faith was married to Rian Haynes, a New Zealand chef, however the couple separated after eight months. They were divorced four years later.
Mick and Fred have been friends lifelong friends, now both reaching their more senior years they find themselves wanting very different things in their immediate life. Fred's daughter Lena feels her dad is in need of a health check and some R&R so she books them into a luxury spa in the beautiful Swiss mountains.

Danny Cohen, the BBC’s Director of television has said he feels ‘sorry’ that Tom Jones was upset after the singer was dropped as a judge on talent ‘The Voice’ earlier this month. Following his axing Jones had hit out at the BBC in a Facebook post, saying he had been dropped from the show without ‘conversation or consultation’ by the BBC.

Some hopefuls for the BBC reality show had their dreams shattered on Monday, due to an unfortunate IT mishap.
The 500 remaining contestants for BBC series ‘The Voice’ thought that their talent show dreams were well and truly over on Monday, when they all received an email message telling them they hadn't made the cut. According to The Mirror, the email was mistakenly sent out to all 500 of the show’s hopefuls instead of the 300 who were actually being axed from the competition.
Boy George is one of the new judges for ‘The Voice’s’ sixth season.
The newspaper reports that BBC IT experts released the error a few hours after the emails were sent meaning bosses were forced to ‘frantically ring round some 200 contestants’ to let them know they still had a place in the competition.
The veteran singer will not be returning to the BBC talent show for its fifth season.

Some slightly weird / gross news for you – a London court has heard how a woman was allegedly caught performing a sexual act on her boyfriend during an open-air Paloma Faith gig in Hyde Park last year.
Lisanne Beck, 47, from the Welsh city of Swansea and her partner Simon Murphy, 48, were arrested while Paloma Faith was performing live at the BBC Radio 2 outdoor concert in the capital in September 2014. The Old Bailey was told that Beck said to the arresting officer “the rules must be different in England”.
