The Futureheads make a their return with new album 'News and Tributes' on 29th May, the eagerly-awaited follow-up to their 2004 eponymous debut LP. The first single to be released from the new album is 'Skip to the End' on 22nd May.

Since their eponymous debut LP the musical ground has shifted radically for The Futureheads and the new landscape is both strange and inviting. 'Skip To The End', reveals the space the band were seeking - and found - with producer Ben Hillier when recording it back in November last year.

The band enjoyed unending success with their first album over the last couple of years selling in excess of 250.000 copies, but the time has come to move on. 'Skip To The End' marks a move into the future perfectly. Once the forerunners of a British guitar music movement starting in 2003, The Futureheads look set to lead the way yet again with a new sound for 2006 and are all remarkably still under 25 yrs.
