When We Are Gone

This is the first single taken from their debut album after releasing just two EP’s last year and touring like nutters across the country. These guys have been razzing it around with yourcodenameis:milo ripping up a storm and getting rave reviews and I’d like to say rightly so! The song starts with an almost industrial beat in the foreground, it’s like Trent Reznor has been robbed by Radiohead ‘kid a era’ but with an increased sense and sensibility for melody. Then slowly but surely the stark but all rather soothing retro style vocals kicks in. These guys are almost doing the impossible, sticking retro art music to a dance beat (in the ‘not cheesey’ category) and making it rock and roll. I think these guys will do good, very good. Buy this
