If this is The Answer, then by God it must have been a ridiculous question. Starting up with a riff cribbed from Paranoid, this exercise in sub Led Zeppelin rock buffoonery goes downhill fast, sounding more like The Fred Zeppelin Experience from down your local than the real deal.
What is most distressing about this single though, is that despite the fact that they're from Northern Ireland, the vocals are excruciatingly Americanised, to the point where Into The Gutter would seamlessly slot onto the Team America: World Police soundtrack. But, then again, if The Darkness can sell out stadiums with their shrill Queen pastiche dreck, then The Answer could do very well indeed. Oh dear.
