Vocally sounding more like their Northern counterpart Ian Brown from his Stone Roses days than themselves, the Stereo Mcs return with another mediocre offering (although its a quality upgrade from their previous single Deep, Down and Dirty). With a catchy vocal and uncomplicated keyboards a position in the charts should be secured. Chicken Lips, in their own inimitable style, eradicate the vocal and concentrate on a Siouxsie and The Banshees heavy bassline and synths. Fellow remixers Automator make it more hip-hop and beats based. |
