6. Starsailor Alcoholic (Chrysalis)
Two seriously good top twenty singles down the line (Fever, Good Souls) and it seems Starsailor could be preparing for yet another hit. Alcoholic is a dramatically uplifting piano laden fable that reaffirms their status as being up there amongst the current best UK guitar bands.

Alcoholic is catchy, meaningful and helped along by James Walshs gorgeous glass-shattering vocal. Their up and coming debut album Love Is Here should also please as Walsh explains We wanted it to be somewhere between Jeff Buckleys Grace and Neil Youngs Harvest. No short order lets hope they can pull it off.
