Red Hot Chili Peppers release ‘Fortune Faded’ – one of two new songs featured on their upcoming ‘Greatest Hits’ album – on November 10th via Warner Bros.

‘Fortune Faded’ will be available on two CD formats. One CD is backed with the non-album tracks ‘Eskimo’ and ‘Bunker Hill’ whilst the other also features a remix of ‘Californication’ by Ekkehard Ehelers as well as the previously unreleased ‘Tuesday Night In Berlin.’

The Red Hot Chili Peppers’ twenty-year career has encompassed some of the most influential music in recent years as well as a plethora of massively successful albums and classic singles. Their long-awaited ‘Greatest Hits’ album will be released on November 17th via Warner Bros.

The ‘Greatest Hits’ collection features material from every album from 1989’s ‘Mother’s Milk’ all the way through to last year’s chart topping album ‘By The Way’ which has sold over 1.6 million in the UK alone. The album includes their #2 hit ‘By The Way’ as well as many other of their best-loved tracks including ‘Under The Bridge’, ‘Give It Away’ and ‘Scar Tissue.’ As well as the single ‘Fortune Faded’, another new sing entitled ‘Save The Population’ is featured, whilst ‘Soul To Squeeze’ makes its first appearance on a Red Hot Chili Peppers album having originally been heard on the 1993 soundtrack to ‘Coneheads.’
