* New Kudos Ranking system. Drivers earn special "Kudos" points by driving with style. Players are rewarded for doing power slides, spinning 360s, cornering on two wheels, and for the first time, drafting while staying on the race line and keeping car damage to a minimum. A new Kudos Ranking system challenges gamers to earn Kudos and improve their level-ranking, so they can unlock new cities, tracks, and ultimately more new cars. Kudos is a measure of recognition that players receive for the skill, flair and daring they drive with, as well as for the accomplishments achieved throughout the game. The more Kudos players earn, the more vehicles, skins, tracks, etc., they unlock.
* An Entirely New Xbox Live Experience. "Project Gotham Racing 2" will support Xbox Live, allowing gamers to join friends and others around the world for the ultimate street race. Players also can download "ghosts," or recorded cars, to watch, learn from and compete against the most skilled drivers in the world. Leaderboards will update in solo play modes when players are connected to Xbox Live so they can keep track of who's number one. Multiplayer System Link also allows players to race head-to-head in the same room.
* Travel the globe. Maintaining its international theme, "Project Gotham Racing 2" takes players to photo-realistic recreations of famous cities including Barcelona, Edinburgh, Florence, Chicago, Moscow and more.
* Sweet rides. Gamers will be able to take the wheel of some of the most exclusive high-performance vehicles, all fully licensed with realistic damage modeling. "Project Gotham Racing 2" offers an exciting driving experience in vehicles from various car classes, such as the new Enzo Ferrari, Porsche GT2, BMW Z4, Pontiac GTO, Ferrari Dino GT, MINI Cooper S, Porsche Cayenne Turbo, and many more.
* Music that drives you. Listen to the hottest DJs in the world turn out great racing music from real radio stations as you drive through each city in the game. Personal playlists can be created through the exclusive CD player in "Project Gotham Racing 2."
