The importance of being idle enough to sound just like the kinks. Sorry it had to be said. The second single to be released off of the acclaimed album Don’t Believe The Truth. This is not one of the strongest songs off the album, all songs can be linked with their influences and the importance of being idle is no exception. At least oasis don’t deny the fact they are influenced by great bands, they would be ignorant to say they’re not. Not as much as “come and have a go if you think you’re hard enough sound” as lyla but still a good song. Personally I don’t think its anything fantastically
