INDIGO BLUES

Fresh from his recent live shows at London's Jazz Caf and Nottingham's The Bomb, LLORCA returns to vinyl with one of the standout tracks from his recent 120,000 selling Newcomer album. Reinterpretations of INDIGO BLUES come courtesy of Interform, Freeform 5, Iz And Diz and Minus 8, ensuring that the track has already featured prominently in the Seven Magazine Buzz Chart.

Nicole Graham's infectious vocals are applied liberally throughout all the mixes and the results are a superb package with a sound to suit every dance floor. Interform give us a classic deep house vibe ; Freeform 5 delivers a more freestyle jazz version ; San Francisco's Iz And Diz go heavy on the brass for their jazz vocal mix ;
and Minus 8 finish the package with a groovy minimal vocal mix.

LLORCA spent much of 2001 on the road playing sold out gigs and festivals in twelve countries, either as DJ at such diverse events as London Fashion Week, or with his new five piece band, bringing Newcomer to life in an incomparable manner. His plans for
2002 include the Big Day Out in Australia, and tours of Germany and France before returning to our shores in the spring.
