With an NME award under their belts before the release of their debut album you could say we’re expecting great things from the Kaiser Chiefs, and we haven’t been disappointed!

Kaiser Chiefs - Employment - Album Review

touring alongside Bloc Party, The Futureheads and The Killers as part of the NME awards tour, the touring continues for the Kaisers throughout March & April.

Oh My God and I Predict A Riot were the first toe tapping anthemic releases from The Chiefs, and have had Indie Rock Lovers stamping their feet and nodding their heads simultaneously whilst belting out the choruses until their voices grow hoarse!

It seems that the Kaiser Chiefs have similar influences as fellow Indie Rock groups such as Franz Ferdinand and The Futureheads, evidence of this seems apparent in the opening track Everyday I Love You Less And Less. Combined with their own individual style The Kaiser Chiefs have concocted a winning formula and Employment is bound for success.

Each track boasts its own style, but the album also has the ability to flow effortlessly from one track to another without sounding too repetitive. if you are a fan of any of the previous singles then this electrically charged album “Employment” will not be a let down for your ears! The Kaisers are definitely a band to watch over the next year, and with this little northern gem of an album it’s not difficult to see why.
