Win the chance to play Leeds Festival!

The Futuresound Competition 2006 is now in full swing. If you're an unsigned band and like the idea of playing Leeds Festival then the Futuresound competition is what you need. The Cribs did it and played and so did O' Fracas. The unsigned event is now in its sixth year. it's been a succses story for many bands over the passed years including The Cribs & O Fracas. Last Days of Vengeance, Bam Bam Francs and O Fracas snapped up the top prizes and we are hoping that this year will be even better.

The competition will take place on 10 dates over the course of July at The Cockpit in Leeds featuring a three band line-up. Each gig will be judged by two judges and an audience vote.

The overall winner will play on the Carling Stage at the Leeds Festival. The five runners will also gain a place on the festival line-up. The second and third prizes are as yet to be confirmed but in the past have included £750 worth of musical equipment and two dates all expenses paid recording in a top studio. These prizes will be confirmed very soon.

Futuresound are now accepting demos which need to be sent alongside an application form, band photo and short biog.
