Jumpers for Goal Posts…….
Finally Gamecube fans no longer need jumpers for goal posts with a pedigree longer than most Crufts winners the appearance of FIFA 2004 has been long awaited. What's more it's the first "true" football game to grace the Gamecube and it looks better than Roman Abramovich's bank balance. Super slick graphics and game play help put the Fifa branding back on top of the league, which must be especially pleasing for EA after a few years of stiff competition.

I'm not going to bore you with controls or how many variations of play there are. I am just going to say that if you want to take a lowly 3rd division team and make them European champions then you can or if you want to start at the top and strive to keep your place then feel free. The extra managerial side to the game helps keep the interest and lets you put your team through punishing team or personal skill training. Buy and sell players at your leisure or just sell if you decide to take the reins at Leeds Utd. One slight problem I have with game (this is extremely biased) is why is Wolves home ground straight out of the 50's? I think someone may have said "it's not worth the modelling costs we won't need it next year" but hey they just won the league with my help so watch out!

Feeling a little trapped as a Gamecube owner is not a new feeling but don't worry because this offering isn't a lacklustre attempt at pleasing footy fans it's a full on fest of shooting passing and dribbling …….get it now.
