Fat Joe - All Or Nothing - Album review
Fat Joe
All Or Nothing

Don’t be fooled by the track he did with J-Lo, he’s just joey from the Bronx, New York! This album has to have the funkiest intro I’ve ever heard on a rap album. Fat Joe is back from the old ‘skool’ with this fine record that is sure to play a good part of this scorcher of a summer! He uses the same technique as Akon and Twister with Alvin and the chipmunks as backing vocals on most of the tracks, however Joe gives this album justice with neat rock riffs and smooth vocals, like he’s always had.

For all you Fat joe lovers out there, “Listen Baby” is the track for you. It features US newcomer Mashonda; this track is cool, mellow and most definitely sexy!! Also check out “get it poppin’” featuring Nelly, this song is so hot and is such a good party song with wicked beats.

“So Hot” is a track that sounds like R Kelly, Funnily enough as he did collaborate with Fat Joe! The lyrics are hot and just in time for the summer. All or nothing is also home to a classic track – my favourite “Lean Back”; if you like remixes, check this out!! The track features all of his friends too (including Eminem)

What I have found with this album is that it’s very two-tone. The first half is more set on rock and focuses on the beats whereas track 8 is a turning point, it’s all funk/soul with lyrics and more of a emotional structure. This album is definitely worth a listen to. And for newcomer to Fat Joe – I Loved it!
