Death Cab For Cutie are set to release 'Crooked Teeth' as their new single. A slow track that never seems to kick into action, everything just seems to be at the same level. So immaculate and so precise everything exactly where it should be. That's all very well, but it does make this track uninteresting and would be what I would say pub background music. Always nice to have, but at the same time you are not really bothered what it is that's on.

Ben Gibbard has a happy feeling voice that gives you yourself that happiness feel. Just a shame that the song itself doesn't seem to lead anywhere, especially because the potential is there and I think a bit of rawness is needed. I know we are never happy, but the track is just too perfect!
