Look at you now

As the track kicks in you may be forgiven for thinking you’ve stumbled on to a stray Libertine’s or 2020’s track, but the dulcet tones of vocalist Rebekah Delgado soon set you straight.

‘Look at you now’ is one of those tracks every girl is going to wish she could perform. With a definitive punky edge and lyrics like, “Give me 50p and I’ll show you a good time,” Ciccone have really pulled it out the hat with their latest single.

Although pinching their name primarily from Madge, ‘Queen of Pop’ herself, Ciccone’s sound couldn’t really be more different. It does, however, share her ultimate defiance with its brash and illimitable spirit borne out through dark pop and punk riffs.

‘Look at you now’ is a cheeky, contemporary take on brilliant retro themes; Ciccone really pull it off.
