Chingy didn’t call his debut ‘Jackpot’ for nothing. The St. Louis rapper’s first album has become a US phenomenon, selling more than 156,000 copies its first week in stores and debuting as the No.2 album in the country, only being held off the top spot by Byonce. ‘Jackpot’ remains in the Top 5, several weeks after it’s after release, and Chingy’s accompanying debut single, the irresistible ‘Right Thurr’, is at No.2 on the Hot 100. ‘Right Thurr’ gets a UK release on 6th October.

Ludacris executive produces and guests on ‘Jackpot’, which also features contributions from Snoop Dogg (on 2nd US single ‘Holidae In’) and Jermaine Dupri. ‘Jackpot’ is produced by fellow St. Louis natives the Trak Starz.
