Bell X1 - The Apple of my Eye - Audio Video Streams

‘Eve…The Apple of my Eye’ released on 14th June 2004, through Island Records.

Bell X1 made an album last year that has driven people to change their life, hang from the rafters at huge sold out gigs, taken them to Gold in Ireland, had an invite from Damien Rice (he used to be in the band) to play with him at the Beacon Theatre in New York, and a personal invite from Keane to support them on their sold out UK tour. Bell X1 are Ireland’s hottest exports of the moment.

They should be. Full of rich, touching, beautiful songs, their Belly world is magnetic; a confused world of heartache, practical jokes, and a charismatic lead singer, Paul Noonan, who is pensive, emotionally fragile and has a degree in computer engineering.

‘Eve…The Apple Of My Eye’ is a classic song taken from their album ‘Music In Mouth’, which was released last year to reactions such as NME ‘..out of the ordinary, a world of fucked-up love and drunken promises..This is rock with gusto and drive and confidence. Radiohead as Radiohead should sound now’, TIMES CULTURE ‘Bell X1 are magic’, MOJO ‘Enormously impressive and wildly moving’, Q ‘…almighty’, and is now being talked about all over the world.

They will be doing a headline tour in June, details to follow.

As a critic has already said when they were nominated for the equivalent of the Brits in Ireland, the Meteor Awards, “Fuck nominated, Bell X1 should be prescribed.”
