Ozzy Osbourne felt extremely guilty upon learning he lived next door to PAT BOONE - because he'd spent months throwing dog's muck into the crooner's garden.
Osbourne was overjoyed to discover that one of his idols was a neighbour in Beverly Hills, California, as he'd been a huge fan of Boone's for years, but the former Black Sabbath frontman also felt obliged to own up to his messy little secret.
The rocker's wife SHARON OSBOURNE says, "Ozzy's job was to clear up the dog c**p in the garden and - before we knew that Pat was our next door neighbour - he used to throw it over the fence.
"Then when we knew that it was Pat, Ozzy was like, 'Oh my God... Oh, I'm so sorry, I threw all that c**p into your garden!'
"The poor guy's got his roses with a big dog turd sticking out in the middle of it. He took abuse from us, but he's just lovely about it."
