Rocker Ozzy Osbourne has paid an emotional tribute to his former bandmate RANDY RHOADS, who was killed in a plane crash in 1982.

Osbourne and a collection of former friends turned out to witness Rhoads' induction into the HOLLYWOOD ROCK WALK OF FAME in Los Angeles - which saw a plaque placed on LA's Sunset Boulevard, next to one for Jimi Hendrix.

Ozzy said at the ceremony yesterday (18MAR04), "I will never forget Randy, he was a small guy with giant talent. Not a day goes by that my family doesn't think about him. He will never die in our hearts.

"This is a testament to Randy, after 22 years, on how great his talent was. We'll never forget him."

Rhoads was just 25 when he was killed while on tour with former BLACK SABBATH star Osbourne's band.
