Rock legend Ozzy Osbourne has been taken out of intensive care and moved to a private clinic, following his quad bike crash two weeks ago (08DEC03).
The CHANGES singer was placed on a ventilator at WEXHAM PARK HOSPITAL, Slough, England after breaking six ribs, a collarbone and a neck vertebra.
The 55-year-old has now been transferred to a private clinic to continue his recovery, which is likely to take around six months in total.
A spokesperson says, "Ozzy is progressing well but is still recuperating from his accident two weeks ago."
A statement from the Osbourne family says, "The Osbourne family are very happy that Ozzy has been allowed out of the Intensive Care Unit for Christmas and would like to thank everyone for their kind support, well wishes and prayers.
"They would also like to thank all the staff at Wexham Park Hospital for the outstanding care and treatment that Ozzy has received since his arrival."23/12/2003 17:20
